Background
No. 9 is an independently owned and operated restaurant located in Lambertville,
New Jersey. Since opening in April 2001, No. 9 has received accolades from
numerous local and national newspapers, including USA Today and the New York
Times. The focus at No. 9 Restaurant is creating eclectic American dishes using
the finest and freshest local ingredients.
Objectives
The primary objective in building the No. 9 Web site was to establish an online
presence and provide information about the menu, location, catering services,
and chefs. It was essential that the site reflect this award-winning
restaurant's creative and seasonal cuisine, as well as its sophisticated
atmosphere and décor.
Solution
After a series of collaborative idea exchanges on the design, Verascend created
a site that uses a simple navigation system, clean graphical elements, and
Flash. These components reflect the simple sophistication of No. 9’s
menu and atmosphere. Verascend built a strong online presence for No. 9. The
site has drawn patrons to the restaurant, and has decreased the amount of time
employees spend answering questions on the phone. Our relationship with No. 9
is ongoing as this restaurant’s popularity continues to grow.
