Background

SnapClose is the latest real estate transaction management solution from Cornerstone Management Solutions, Inc. (CMS), the creator of Wintitle. CMS called Verascend because they needed to seamlessly integrate their Wintitle customers so that title companies, lawyers, and all other real estate transaction participants could exchange information without phone calls, faxes, and endless re-keying of data.

Objectives

Develop a Web site that provides users with personalized views of real estate transactions. Develop a connector through which users of the Wintitle desktop application could exchange information over the Web from one desktop to another without re-keying data.

Solution

Verascend designed and developed the SnapClose Web site and real estate transaction portal. Through this portal, real estate transaction participants can monitor the transaction, view documents such as title policies, contracts and searches, and contact other participants in the transaction.

Verascend also re-engineered a connector through which Wintitle users can request services from Wintitle users in other companies and respond in kind. This request/response mechanism was built using XML as the data exchange language.
