Background

Witter Publishing Corporation (WPC) is a leader in business-to-business publications. Through magazines, trade shows, conferences, and Internet sites, WPC provides timely information to industry professionals and connects them with leading suppliers in their niche markets. WPC approached Verascend because they were horribly dissatisfied with their existing Internet technology vendor.

Objectives

WPC required a rapid transition of all their Web sites from their exisiting Internet service provider to Verascend without any interruption of service. Additionally, WPC needed to meet their existing schedule for publishing regular industry updates and newsletters, and e-mail advertising campaigns.

Solution

Within a one-week timeframe, Verascend was able to transfer all of the content from all of WPC's Web sites as well as their subcriber databases—without any assistance from WPC's existing Internet service provider.
